Our Services

Consulting. Training. Coaching.

We consult with organizations and their leaders, train their staff and professionals, and coach the youth and emerging adults they serve — three levels of support working together around the young person.

How the Three Levels Work Together

Support flows from leadership, to staff, to the young people themselves.

Each level works on the environment around young people: the decisions that shape programs, the staff who interact with youth every day, and the young people being served. Together, they create greater consistency around the young person.

Better Support Starts With the Adult.

Practical training that begins with the adult’s own awareness — recognizing their emotions, triggers, assumptions, and reactions — so these don’t automatically shape how they respond to a young person. This isn’t about blaming staff; it’s about helping professionals notice what’s happening inside themselves so they can respond with intention rather than reaction, and model the regulation we ask of young people.

Youth & Emerging Adult Coaching

YouthEmerging AdultsAges 8–24

Developmentally appropriate coaching that gives young people space to build emotional awareness, self-understanding, communication, self-advocacy, confidence, resilience, and practical skills for everyday life.

Traumana provides both individual and group coaching for children, adolescents, and emerging adults ages 8–24 through organizational partnerships. Formats are tailored to each organization’s population, setting, and goals.

What Young People Need to Thrive

Research from the Kauai Longitudinal Study highlights protective factors that can help young people thrive: caring, dependable adults, supportive relationships, chances to build confidence and skills, opportunities to make choices, and supportive environments. That’s why supporting a young person also means paying attention to the adults around them and the environments they move through.

Coaching for ages 8–24 is provided through organizational partnerships. Private coaching is available directly to adults ages 25 and older. These services are delivered through organizational engagements and are nonclinical. They are not therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or mental-health treatment.
