Coaching that centers strengths, not symptoms
Traumana Group Services provides strengths-based, trauma-informed coaching for youth and emerging adults through schools, nonprofits, community programs, and other youth-serving organizations. Coaching creates space for young people to better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, develop emotional awareness, build confidence, and strengthen skills they can carry into everyday life.

Building resilience, confidence, and connection
Coaching creates space for young people to better understand themselves, recognize the strengths they already possess, and develop skills they can carry into everyday life. Through guided reflection, practical tools, and a nonjudgmental coaching relationship, youth and emerging adults can build greater emotional awareness, resilience, confidence, and self-understanding.
Resilience
Supporting young people as they navigate challenges, transitions, setbacks, and change while recognizing the strengths and resources they already possess.
Confidence
Creating opportunities for young people to recognize their capabilities, develop their voice, and build confidence through meaningful growth and achievable experiences.
Emotional Awareness
Helping young people expand their emotional vocabulary, identify and understand what they are feeling, recognize patterns, and develop greater awareness of their emotional experiences.
Healthy Relationships
Supporting communication, boundaries, self-awareness, connection, and relationship skills across friendships, family relationships, school, work, and other environments.

Meeting young people where they are
Organizational coaching serves youth and emerging adults ages 8–24 — a diverse population with distinct developmental needs. Traumana’s coaching approach is responsive to developmental stage, individual strengths, lived experiences, environment, emotional development, and goals.
Coaching does not assume that every behavior or emotional experience is caused by trauma. Instead, it considers the whole young person rather than reducing them to symptoms, labels, diagnoses, or past experiences.
Ages 8–12
Building emotional vocabulary, self-awareness, communication, and early coping skills in age-appropriate ways.
Ages 13–17
Strengthening identity, self-advocacy, relationships, regulation, and confidence through adolescence.
Ages 18–24
Supporting emerging adults through transitions, decision-making, independence, and practical life skills.
Session arrangements — including format, frequency, and setting — are determined together with the organizational partner.
- Responsive to developmental stage, environment, and lived experience

- Considers the whole young person, not labels or diagnoses
Flexible formats for organizational partners
Organizational partners may engage Traumana to provide individual or group coaching for the youth and emerging adults they serve. Both formats are strengths-based, trauma-informed, and developmentally responsive.
Individual Coaching
Individual coaching provides space for personalized reflection, skill development, self-understanding, emotional awareness, confidence, and goal development within a supportive one-on-one coaching relationship.
Group Coaching
Group coaching provides structured opportunities for shared learning, reflection, peer connection, communication, and skill development among youth and emerging adults in a facilitated group setting.

What coaching is — and what it is not
Coaching through Traumana Group Services is educational, developmental, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. People do not need a diagnosis to benefit from greater emotional awareness, self-understanding, confidence, resilience, or personal development.
Not every difficult experience, personality characteristic, behavior, or emotional response is automatically a trauma response. Coaching may consider strengths, personality, experiences, adaptations, emotional development, environment, relationships, and goals.
Coaching is not psychotherapy, counseling, mental-health treatment, diagnosis, or crisis care. When someone’s needs fall outside the scope of coaching, appropriate professional resources may be recommended.
Private coaching is available separately
Traumana also offers private coaching for adults ages 25 and older who book independently. Private coaching has its own dedicated service page where visitors can learn more about the approach, services, and next steps.
